International boxer Dur Mohammad Baloch passes away

KARACHI: Pakistan’s former international boxer Dur Mohammed Baloch died due to cardiac arrest on Sunday. He was 40. He left behind a widow and three children.
He was the son of former Olympian boxer Malang Baloch and nephew of Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) Secretary Asghar Baloch. He was serving in Merchant Navy. He developed fatal heart attack during duty at the African fort. His father Malang Baloch had also died seven months ago. Dur Mohammad belongs to the boxing hub Lyari, a district in Karachi, which has been the key feeder of boxing nursery to the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) for the last several decades.
