Starc, Cummins become highest-paid IPL players

LAHORE: Australia’s pace duo Mitchell Starc and Pate Cummins smashed all records of the IPL becoming the two most expensive players in the history of India’s marquee league.
As per information Mitchell Starc was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping sum of 2.98 million US dollars which is equal to Rs 819,246,230.
Earlier on Tuesday Pate Cummins set a new record which later broken by Starc after he was bought for 2.47m US dollars by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Before this, England Sam Curran had kept the record as the highest-paid player when he was purchased by Punjab Kings for 2.23 million US dollars last year.
