Pakistan squad leaves for New Zealand to feature in tri-series

LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team flew out of Lahore for New Zealand early this morning to feature in the tri-series which also involves hosts New Zealand and Bangladesh.

The squad comprises 16 players and 13 persons of the support staff.  Fast bowler Naseem Shah has joined the squad at the airport. Naseem Shah had been sent home because of pneumonia and covid-19 issues. He also missed the last three games which held in Lahore. England won the series 4-3 after inflicting a 67-run defeat on the hosts Sunday night. The squad, which will go via Dubai, will reach Christchurch on Tuesday (tomorrow).
