LAHORE: Arbaz Khan and Arshad Liaquat hit treble each to enable Pakistan crush Singapore 11-0 in their Group A opener of the men’s hockey event of the 19yh Asian Games in Hangzhou on Sunday.
Arbaz and Arahad were assisted by Abdur Rehman, Mohammad Ammad, Afraz, Sufyan Khan and Rana Waleeed with a goal each.
Pakistan will now face Bangladesh in their second show on Tuesday.
India, Japan and Uzbekistan are the other sides on Pakistan’s group.
Meanwhile Group B carries South Korea, Malaysia, China, Oman, Thailand and Indonesia.
