Fakhar Zaman warmly received by UoL students

LAHORE: It was a charged atmosphere on Monday at the major private sector University of Lahore. Students of the posh varsity started gathering before the start of the programme which carried the arrival and display of the HBL PSL 10 Trophy by the Lahore Qalandars.
Besides taking a glimpse of the trophy students were more interested in seeing the hard-hitting batsman Fakhar Zaman. Fakhar came to the stage with the Qalandars leadership including it’s CEO Arif Rana, COO Sameem Rana and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) senior official and Director PSL Salman Naseer.
There was a buzz and students not only saw Fakhar but some students also make pictures with him.
A handful of graduates also won PSL tickets through lucky draw and Fakhar also handed some students Qalandars shirts.
Fakhar said that they would reclaim the trophy inshaAllah.
“inshaAllah we will come again with the trophy after the PSL 10,” Fakhar said while replying to a question from a student.
He was also quizzed by students about Pakistan’s poor performance in the first game against New Zealand.
And Fakhar said that they should support the team passing through difficult time.
Latter the barrage of distinguished guests also posed for videos and photographs with the PSL 10 Trophy.
When Fakhar was leaving the stage students on large number settled themselves on the way to take a selfie with the aggressive batsman who could not proceed to New Zealand due to fitness issues.
The PSL 10 will begin from April 11 on major centres of the country.
Lahore will stage 13 matches of the 34 showdowns.
