Parvez Hossain Emon ruled out of PSL

Our Web Desk
KARACHI: Parvez Hossain Emon, Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman, has been ruled of the HBL PSL 11 due to shoulder injury, his franchise Lahore Qalandars said.
He sustained the injury following an on-field collision with Asif Ali during the match against Multan Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium on April 3.
Subsequent MRI scans confirmed a ligament tear and he has been advised to undergo a period of rest and rehabilitation over the coming weeks.
As a precautionary measure, in line with medical guidance, Parvez missed the April 9 fixture against Islamabad United to ensure proper recovery and avoid any further aggravation. Following a careful assessment, it has been decided to release him from the squad, with a replacement to be announced in due course.
He made a promising contribution during his short stint with the Qalandars, featuring in three matches and scoring 71 runs at an impressive strike rate of 161.36, including a fluent 45-run innings against Multan Sultans.
Parvez will depart tonight following the team’s match against Peshawar Zalmi, with the franchise extending its full support and best wishes for his recovery.
“The Lahore Qalandars family wishes him a swift return to full fitness and continued success ahead”.
