Pakistan’s World Cup kit unveiled

LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team kit for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was unveiled here at a formal ceremony at the PCB headquarters with the Board’s chairman Mohsin Naqvi in attendance.
The PCB Chief Operating Officer (COO) Salman Naseer was also present on the occasion.
Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam, the country’s key pacer Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and prolific wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan were seen wearing the kit.
An 18-member Pakistan team was set to depart for Ireland late Monday night from here to play three T20I matches against Ireland in Dublin. The Green-shirts then will move to England for four T20I matches before moving to the United States to begin their World Cup journey with their opener against the hosts US in Dallas on June 6.
Pakistan team underwent rigorous training here at the Gaddafi Stadium for the last three days under scorching heat.
The World Cup will be jointly hosted by the US and West Indies in June.
