LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team hotel in New York was changed after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi took up the issue with the International Cricket Council (ICC) that the hotel was very far away from the venue.
Pakistan will play a couple of matches in New York on June 9 and 11 and according to sources the team hotel was about at 90 minutes drive.
Sources said that Naqvi took up the issue with ICC and the world body was convinced that it was very important for Pakistan team to stay close to the venue where they will also play a tough game against arch-rivals India. Sources said that the hotel in which now the Green-shirts will stay in New York is just at five minutes drive to the venue.
Sources said that India team hotel is at ten minutes drive while other teams are staying at hotels which are around at an hour drive
