Pakistan leave for Chennai to feature in Asian Hockey Champions Trophy

LAHORE: Pakistan hockey team on Tuesday left for Chennai to feature in the Asian Champions Trophy which will be held from August 3 to 12.
As many as six nations are featuring in the Champions Trophy. The event will be played on a single league basis with each time taking on others once. At the end of the league phase top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals to be held on August 11. The final and third place show will be conducted on August 12.
Fixtures: August 3: Korea v Japan, Malaysia v Pakistan, India v China, August 4: Korea v Pakistan, China v Malaysia, India v Japan, August 6: China v Korea, Pakistan v Japan, Malaysia v India, August 7: Japan v Malaysia, Pakistan v China, Korea v India, August 9: Japan v China, Malaysia v Korea, India v Pakistan, August 11: 5th place show and semi-finals (semi-1 second and 3rd place teams, semi-2: 1st and 4th place teams); August 12: 3rd place match and final
