LAHORE: Neeraj Chopra, who on Monday lifted gold in the World Athletics Championship in Hungary with a throw of 88.17m, called the silver medallist Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan for a photo after the duo finished at the first and second place in the global event respectively on Hungary on Sunday.
After winning gold at the world level Chopra became the greatest athlete on the India’s sports history to have clinched titles in every event.
Arshad also created history when he became the first Pakistani athlete to lift medal in the World Championship.
Arshad engineered a throw of 87.82m to ensure silver.
