LAHORE; The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee new chairman Zaka Ashraf has offered a couple of posts to former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez.
In a meeting with the former solid batsman here at the PCB headquarters on Thursday Zaka offered him post of a chief selector and a key post in the National Cricket Academy.
According to sources Hafeez thanked Zaka and requested him to give him some time so that he could consult the matter with his family and friends.
Hafeez told latter a web portal that if he is given the job he will fulfil his responbilitiee with utter dedication and with great professional spirit.
The chief selector post is vacant after former Test cricketer Haroon Rasheed was removed after the ouster of the former PCB MC chief Najam Sethi.
Sources said that a few more former test cricketers including Younis Khan, Mohsin Hasan Khan and Saleem Yousuf are also on the radar of the PCB and it is expected that they will also be given responsibilities in the new set up which is being created by Zaka.
