Balochistan Greens lift Inter-Provincial Women Volleyball title

LAHORE: Balochistan Green Clinches Victory in a thrilling final of the 1st CM Balochistan Women National Inter-Provincial Volleyball Championship
Quetta, October 9, 2023 – The 1st CM Balochistan Women National Inter Provincial Volleyball Championship concluded with a spectacular final day of intense competition and remarkable performances by the participating teams.
The day kicked off with the 3rd Position Match between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Islamabad. In an exciting encounter, Islamabad emerged victorious, securing the 3rd position in the championship. The match was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Irfan Nawaz Butt, Vice President of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation, who commended the players for their outstanding efforts.
The grand finale featured a clash between Balochistan Green and Sindh, two exceptional teams that had demonstrated their prowess throughout the tournament. In a thrilling match that had fans on the edge of their seats, Balochistan Greens emerged as the champions of the championship. They secured victory with a 3-0 win, with set points of 25-21, 25-20, 27-25.
The final match was honored by the presence of esteemed guests, including Mir Jamal Khan, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Muhammad Ishaq Jamali, Secretary of Sports Balochistan, and Durra Baloch, Director General of Sports Balochistan.
Balochistan Green’s outstanding performance earned them the coveted 1st position in the championship, along with a cash award of 3 lac Rupees. Sindh secured the 2nd position and received a cash award of 2 lac Rupees, while Islamabad claimed the 3rd position with a cash award of 1 lac Rupees.
The 1st CM Balochistan Women National Inter Provincial Volleyball Championship has been a celebration of women’s volleyball talent in Balochistan, showcasing the dedication, skills, and passion of the players. The tournament not only promoted the sport but also highlighted the emerging talent in the region.
As the championship came to a thrilling end, the volleyball community now eagerly anticipates the upcoming 53rd National Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship, with a General Technical and Draws Meeting scheduled for October 10, 2023, at 3:00 PM.
