Australia maintain pole position; Pakistan improve one place in Test rankings

ISLAMABAD: Australia have boosted their lead at the summit of the ICC Test rankings while Pakistan displaced England from fifth spot.

Australia maintained their supremacy as the top Test nation by grabbing 128 rating points. Australia more recently sealed a 1-0 victory in the three-match Test series against Pakistan on their historic tour to the sub-continental country.

India follow at the second place with 119 pints, New Zealand stand third with 111 points, South Africa just shy one point and are placed at 110 points. Pakistan improved one place, jumping to the fifth spot with 93 points, leaving England drop down to the sixth spot with 88 points. Sri Lanka (81), West Indies (77) and Bangladesh (71) occupy seventh, eighth and ninth positions, respectively.
