LAHORE: Defending champions Lahore Qalandars on Saturday started their preparation for the HBL PSL 9 which will begin here at the Gaddafi Stadium on February 17.
Lahore Qalandars will face Islamabad United in their opener on February 17.
In the training session held here at the Qalandars High Performance Centre the brigade’s skipper Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Fakhar Zaman, Zaman Khan and the rest of the local players underwent tough training.
The team will also train at the same venue on Sunday (today).
The Qalandars spokesman said that the foreign players will start arriving in Pakistan from next week.
Meanwhile test pacer Hasan Ali also joined Karachi Kings which are set to prepare for the marquee event.
