A high-level committee to decide Pakistan’s WC fate
By our correspondent
LAHORE: The Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has constituted a high-level committee which will decide whether Pakistan should go to India for the World Cup which will be held in October-November.
The committee includes foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and communication minister Asad Mahmood.
The Ministry of IPC had requested the federal government on behalf of the Pakiatan Cricket Board (PCB) last month that the government should allow the national team to travel to India for the ICC World Cup.
The PCB had also requested the state to look into the security arrangements in the venues where the Green-shirts will be playing in the global event.
