LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the revised schedule for the upcoming T20I Tri-Nation Series featuring hosts Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe, with the opening match set for 18 November 2025. All seven matches, including the final, will now be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Each game will begin at 6:00 PM local time.
The tournament will open with a clash between Pakistan and Zimbabwe on Tuesday, 18 November. Each participating team will play four matches, with the top two sides advancing to the final, scheduled for Saturday, 29 November.
Earlier, the PCB had announced adjustments to the schedule of the ongoing One-Day International (ODI) series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, as well as the forthcoming T20I Tri-Nation Tournament. The decision was reached in consultation with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC), following mutual discussions to accommodate logistical and operational requirements.
Under the revised schedule, the remaining ODIs between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will now be held on 14 and 16 November 2025 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The T20I Tri-Nation Series will also take place entirely in Rawalpindi, commencing 18 November and concluding with the final on 29 November 2025.
The PCB stated that the Tri-Nation Series will serve as a key preparatory event ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
Updated fixtures for both the ODI series and the T20I Tri-Nation Tournament will soon be released on the PCB’s official platforms.
Earlier, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met with the Sri Lankan team and assured them of foolproof security arrangements for the remaining ODIs and the upcoming Tri-Nation Series. Following the meeting, Sri Lanka confirmed their decision to stay and complete the tour.
The assurance came after security concerns were raised by the Sri Lankan contingent in the wake of a terror attack in Islamabad a day earlier, which left several people dead and many others injured.
