Match officials announced for Pakistan-Australia series

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the match officials for the three-match Twenty20 International series between Pakistan and Australia, to be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from Jan. 29 to Feb. 1.
All matches will start at 4 p.m. local time, with the toss scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
ICC International Panel match referee Ali Naqvi will oversee all three matches. The second T20I will mark his 50th appearance as a match referee in the format. He officiated his first T20I at the same venue in April 2023.
Ahsan Raza, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, will stand as an on-field umpire in the first two matches. He will be joined by Asif Yaqoob of the ICC Emerging Panel of Umpires in the first T20I and Rashid Riaz of the ICC International Panel of Umpires in the second.
Rashid Riaz, who will serve as fourth umpire in the first match, will be on-field alongside Nasir Hussain in the third T20I. Zulfiqar Jan of the PCB National Elite Panel of Umpires will act as fourth umpire in the final match.
Nasir Hussain will begin the series as third umpire and will also serve as fourth umpire in the second match. Asif Yaqoob and Tariq Rasheed, both from the PCB National Elite Panel of Umpires, will perform third-umpire duties in the second and third matches, respectively.
