LAHORE: Pakistan’s pace sensation and one of the most disciplined bowlers these days Naseem Shah will miss The Hundred due to NOC issue.
According to relevant sources Naseem has been denied NOC for the league as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wants to manage his workload which if not handled properly he may face injuries which will be detrimental to his entire career as well as for the country.
Naseem was set to represent Birmingham Phoenix and for that he had been hired for a whopping sum of 125000 Pounds.
Naseem had last year developed shoulder injury during the Asia Cup which forced him to undergo surgery.
The PCB have also not yet given NOCs to Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi for the Canada league as the Board is waiting for the ICC response relating to the legality of the event.
