PSL X remaining matches rescheduled

LAHORE: Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the entire playoffs stage and final while Pindi Stadium Rawalpindi will host the remaining four league matches as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced the fresh schedule for those matches of the HBL PSL X which had been postponed due to war between Pakistan and India.
These eight matches will be conducted from May 17 to May 25 at Rawalpindi and Lahore, respectively.
The match between Multan and Quetta Gladiators, originally scheduled in Multan, will now be held at the Pindi Stadium in the afternoon on May 18.
The Qualifier, which previously Pindi was supposed to host, will now be held at the Gaddafi Stadium. Both venues will host four matches each with Lahore to host the qualifier, two eliminators and final.
The showpiece will resume from Saturday (May 17) when Peshawar Zalmi take on Karachi Kings at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The final of the six-team event will be held on May 25 at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
On May 18, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host a double-header as Multan Sultans will take on Quetta Gladiators in the afternoon, while Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars will face each other in the evening encounter.
On May 19, Islamabad United and Karachi Kings will feature in the last group-match of the event.
The action will then shift to Lahore where the Qualifier is scheduled for May 21. Eliminator 1 and 2 will follow on May 22 and 23, respectively.
The PCB said that the only afternoon game will begin at 3pm local time while the first ball of the evening matches will be bowled at 7.30pm local time. However, the day which will carry double header on May 18 the evening show will begin at 8pm.
Previously the evening matches used to begin at 8pm.
Quetta Gladiators with 13 points have already qualified for the playoffs while Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United are set to battle for the remaining three playoff spots.
