LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi has advised the Green-shirts to fight until last delivery.
During a two-hour long meeting he encouraged the players and advised to work hard and adopt a professional approach to the game. He emphasized that T20 cricket requires a different and aggressive approach and teamwork is essential for success. He urged the players to fight until the last ball and if they work together as a team, they will achieve victory.
The meeting was held in Dublin, where the team is currently touring. The chairman emphasized the importance of teamwork and also highlighted the need for a professional approach to the game, saying that T20 cricket is a different and aggressive format. The team’s success depends on their ability to work together.
Naqvi said that the team’s bowling attack is excellent but fielding needs improvement to prevent the opposing team from getting any chances. He emphasized that the players are the hope of Pakistan and must live up to the nation’s expectations. He said that teamwork is essential for success and if the 11 players work together they will achieve victory.
The chairman also said that the Pakistani nation loves cricket and has high hopes from its players. He said that no one accepts defeat especially in the first match against Ireland. “After Ireland and England, the real test is the World Cup,” he said.
