Three more cricketers set to join national team in Worcester

From our correspondent

KARACHI: Teenage batting sensation Haider Ali, Test pacer Imran Khan Senior and spinner Kashif Bhatti are set to fly out of Lahore on Wednesday to join Pakistan team in Worcester after being tested negative twice for COVID-19 on July 1 and July 4.

However young pacer Haris Rauf again tested positive. He is now the only player left yet to clear the test among the ten who had missed Pakistan’s first group of players to fly for England on June 28 because they had been tested positive.

Pakistan are currently undergoing training in the bio-secure bubble in Worcester to prepare for three Tests and the same number of One-day International against England in August-September.
