Pakistan-West Indies final T20 also abandoned due to rain; the visitors win the four-match series 1-0

GUYANA: The fourth and final match of the four-match T20 series between Pakistan and West Indies also was abandoned here Tuesday due to rain with the visitors winning the series 1-0.

West Indies scored 30 without loss in three overs with Andre Fletcher (17*) and Chris Gayle (12*) giving a good start to the hosts before rain intervened. And ten minutes before the cut-off time the match was abandoned as there was no possibility of resumption.

This was the third game of the series which was hit by rain. Pakistan had won the second game by seven runs to take 1-0 lead. Now the first game of the two-match Test series between the two nations will begin at Kingston on August 12.
