ENGLAND: Aiming some solid practice sessions ahead of their first Test against England in Manchester from August 5, Pakistan team arrived in Derby today.
The team under the coaching of Misbah-ul-Haq would exert itself during the next few days to prepare for the first Test of the three Test-match series.
Besides usual routine training intra-squad four-day games would be of immense importance in Derby as it would enable the players to catch top rhythm ahead of the first big challenge against the hosts who tasted a huge blow when they were beaten by the West Indies in their first Test.
In Worcester Pakistan spent 14 days in a bio-secure bubble, having practiced hard and skipper Azhar Ali and coaching staff is satisfied with the outfit’s progress.
Pakistan will move to Manchester on August 1.
