National cricketers to undergo covid tests for home series against New Zealand tomorrow

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan cricket team players will undergo covid tests at their respective cities on Sunday (today) for the country’s home series against New Zealand which will begin with the first one-day at the Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi on September 17.

According to sources after clearing the tests the already selected players will assemble in Rawalpindi on September 8 and again will be tested for covid. And after one-day quarantine they will start training at the Pindi Stadium on September 10. Pakistan will play three ODIs and five T20 Internationals against New Zealand during the series. New Zealand will arrive in Pakistan in the wee hours of September 12.

ODIs: September 17, 19, 21 at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi

T20I: Sept 25, 26, 29, Oct 1, 3: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore
