South Africa tour would be tough: Imam

By our correspondent

KARACHI: Pakistan’s left-handed opener Imam-ul-Haq has said that South Africa tour would be tough but effort would be made to pull off desired results.
“It would be a tough challenge as Proteas are tough team but we will try to live up to the billing,” Imam said.
Commenting on the practice match held at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Monday Imam said it creates confidence ahead of such tours.
“Practice matches are very important. When a player performs in them it creates confidence which is very good ahead of such tour,” Imam said.
“It was a scenario-based match and it’s very helpful. You have to develop shorts square of the wicket and it’s very important,” said Imam.
