KARACHI: Quetta Gladiators young fast bowler Naseem Shah is disappointed after having released from isolation in Lahore for breaching departure protocol.

“I had worked harder and was very excited to play PSL,” Naseem said in a tweet on Tuesday. “I follow all instructions by seeing the messages in the group. I don’t know how I missed this message. I want to play cricket as it is my life. I cannot express how I am feeling now. God will make me stronger and I will return,” Naseem said.

Naseem Shah was on Monday released from isolation in Lahore after he breached the protocols for departure from Pakistan by arriving at the designated hotel with a non-compliant RT-PCR test result. Naseem also misses his mother during this tough time. His mother had passed in 2019. He said had his mother been alive he would have shared his pain with her and she would stand by him in this difficult time of his career.
